RHYTHMS ON THE RIO
Making your pee green!
As members of the South Fork Music Association, we are heavily involved with the planning and organization of the Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival. Each year, we bring the farm-to-festival connection to a whole new level!
In 2017, we brought straw bale urination stations to Rhythms that upcycled our waste to the benefit of our soil. With the help of our volunteers and interns, we also brought some epic, large-scale pieces of art to add to the festy vibes!
We love teaching! We have shared our experience and knowledge with everyone from young children and college students to folks starting their own farms or homestead. We have lectured about making impacts in your community, organic farming, sustainability, and so much more.
We have also hosted field trips here on the farm, where we share hands-on experience on everything from sheet-mulching, trail-building, to basic gardening!
